The goal when any vehicle has been unleashed in a mediated process is that there is a productive pathway toward true communication between source & respondent, with a definitive impact following forthwith. In short, there has been a connection; defined by its context; outworking through a particular worldview; landing effectively in the world of those meeting one’s mediations.
If one understands the significance and process to creating these cultural building blocks, while also grasping the roadblocks to effective communication, one should have the structural framework to communicate in any given situation and context.
Why is this so?
Because one will be able to understand, analyse, and build an effective communicative case as one answers the significant questions in light of the respondent’s desired reality.
With this in mind; some areas of potential media that should illuminate general contexts of connection. We will likely expand on this section very soon, adding some more depth to each big idea.
-Scribal – These would be the areas that have indulged most of my time, as I have deliberated in script and in prose, often to a strike, thereof.
-Verbal – Do have a long and historical picture of public communication, and am now in my second season of rugby commentary. Would definitely love to take the commentary as far as possible, and through any potential mediums.
-Visual – Design and a sense of what is pleasing on the eye has been part of the career of iamjonnyking. The use of video and the impact of youtube part of the present explortion.
-Conceptual – Fundamentally, I am an idea’s man. Provide a context and the stage will be set for a new set of lines. To truly mark the moment, more than likely, means leaving the imprint of your work through culture.
-Social – As a start-up media guy, I spend a large portion of my time in the social media context. Many describe themselves as experts, and I am far from some. I prefer the term, explorer.
